Xbox 360 adds support for DivX E-mail

It's official now: Xbox 360 supports AVI files and to be more precise, MPEG-4 Part 2, Simple and Advanced Simple Profiles are supported. That said, XviD videos should work also. Resolutions up to 720p are supported with the maximum bitrate of 5 Mbps. As for audio side, AC3 streams are supported as well as MP3. For more information, see MSDN's Xbox Team blog.
