STEP 2: Using PhotoDVD
Ok after you have done with all of those settings hit Ok button and get back to the first screen. Use the right mouse button to have a list like in the picture below. Use the Add Files or Add Folder function to import pictures. You can also use the or buttons to import pictures.
Once you have imported all pictures remember also arrange pictures in the order you prefer to see them in the slideshow. You may also like to use some Additional Editing where you could for example add subtitles, focal points to each picture, and change animation etc. We won't go that far in this guide. Let's keep it simple. After you are done, use the Next button to goto Audio section.
Here you have option to add some audio files that will be played as background music in the slideshow. You can use MP3, WMA, OGG, MPC, WAV or APE formats. You can import them same way as adding pictures. After you are done, use the Next button to goto Output section.
Here you can select the Output format. PAL is used in Europe/Australia and NTSC in America/Asia. Select the way you want to view slideshow - 16:9/4:3. Select your DVD writer as a Target Device and also the writing speed you prefer to use (insert blank DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW or DVD+RW disc to the writer before). You can also change the Volume Label if you like. Remember also to select the "Store source files" option. It will make a folder for all source pictures to the DVD. After you are done, click the Next button to see the project summary.
If everything looks all right click the Next button to start compiling, the burning will start automatically after compiling has finished.
Here you can see preview of the Compiling process. Now you can have a little coffee brake and after that you have a cool Slideshow waiting ;) Enjoy!
