STEP 1: Configuring the settings
First step is to Download the PhotoDVD software
After you have installed the program obviously the first thing you should do is to go through the settings. As you see in the first screen, there is only a few items on it to keep the program simple and easy to use. Quite straightforward I would say. Just click the Settings button.
In the Settings screen you have 5 tab's. First there is the Language tab. Select the language you would like the program to run in (default is English).
Okay next there is Imaging tab. If you don't have too many pictures you should use High setting for both Pan effects and Zoom effects in the Quality section. Don't edit settings in the Properties section, those can easily ruin everything if you don't know what you are doing. The last section is Timing. Here you can select how long each image will display (default is 4 seconds)? Transition is the time in seconds of transition between pictures.
You can always return to default settings using the Reset button. It will bring back cursors to default place. Apply, should be clicked in order for your changes to be maintained.
DVD Format tab let you select the formatting of your DVD (PAL or NTSC). PAL is used in Europe/Australia and NTSC in America/Asia. You can also select the way to view slideshow - WideScreen/FullScreen.
Next there is the Subtitles tab. Here you can change the font and other characteristics of subtitles, if you are going to use them in the slideshow.
The last tab is for Media Statistics. Here you can allow VSO-Software to collect information about used DVD media, DVD Writer and software version.
